Ricardo Gómez

Executive Director
Ricardo Gómez is Executive Director for Impact Latin America. Originally from Colombia, he has a Master’s in Theology and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. He has served the church in many different capacities, primarily in Latin America, including as pastor, church planter, and seminary professor. He is currently the Latin American Area Director for Free Methodist World Missions where he has been a missionary for the past 13 years. Ricardo lives in Medellín, Colombia with his wife, Beth, and their two teenage children. When not traveling throughout the region, you will find him exercising, cooking, or watching European league soccer.

Paul Olver

President and Board Chair
Paul Olver is President and Board Chair for Impact Latin America. He has a Doctor of Ministry in Missions and Leadership, as well as 40 years of experience as a pastor of urban, multi-ethnic churches, a denominational leader, and a missionary. He most recently served as Associate Director of Free Methodist World Missions in Latin America. Along with his wife, Delia Nüesch-Olver, he lives in Seattle, WA, USA. He enjoys biking and international cuisine.

John Jairo Leal

Community Church Planting Director
John Jairo Leal is the Community Church Planting Coordinator for Latin America. A native of Colombia, he completed an undergraduate degree in theology and church planting. He has served as pastor, church planter, seminary professor and has written pastoral training materials. John Jairo lives in Medellín, Colombia, with his wife, Susana, and their two daughters, Isabella and Valentina. When he is not working he likes to watch movies and visit new places with his family.

Delia Nüesch-Olver

Ambassador-at-Large
Delia Nüesch-Olver, PhD, grew up in a Swiss missionary family in Argentina. She is a pastor, church planter, former professor, and director of Global Urban Mission at Seattle Pacific University, recent Latin America Area Director for Free Methodist World Missions, and sought-after speaker on the topic of developing an appropriate missiology for today’s world. As the founder of this movement in Latin America, Dr. Nüesch-Olver now serves as Ambassador-at-Large for Impact Latin America. For fun Delia enjoys walking and cooking international food for her husband, Paul.

Bev Carter

Development Director
Bev Carter, MBA, is the Development Director for Impact Latin America. Prior to this position she has led development teams or managed a variety of large and small programs in the profit and nonprofit sectors. Her passion is to contribute to building God’s Kingdom and values the opportunity to empower and inform the Church about the inspiring mission of Impact Latin America. She has two grown children and lives north of Seattle, Washington with her husband, Tony, and Annie, the Wonder Dog.

Devin Bruckner

Board Treasurer
Devin Bruckner brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and consulting, including work with McKinsey & Company, King Philanthropies, and the Kravis Prize in Nonprofit Leadership. With a focus on international development, her work has included strategic planning, financial analysis, grantee due diligence, and program management. Devin lived for two years in Peru and is actively involved in her church and several community organizations. She lives with her family in SE Seattle and enjoys long walks in her neighborhood connecting with friends!

Sebastián Collazo

Sebastián Collazo is designer, broadcaster and branding expert. For several years he has been working with a wide variety of advertising agencies and companies such as HBO, Netflix and Coca-Cola among others. He served on different Christian communication ministries of radio and television in Latin america. He lives with his wife Danitza and his son Simón in Santiago, Chile, where he is the founder and CEO of FEELS Creative Design Studio, one of the most important companies in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics in Chile.

Allison Coventry, DMin

Allison currently works in Leadership Development for a network of churches in the Pacific Northwest, part of the Free Methodist Church denomination. Allison has a doctorate in Leading with a Culturally Intelligent Biblical Worldview and is currently a Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Fellow. Her background includes pastoring in Seattle and Rochester, NY, and leadership development throughout Latin America. Allison resides in Seattle, Washington.
Faircloth

Will Faircloth

Will Faircloth directs the Wesley Heritage Foundation and the Instituto de Estudios Wesleyanos, twin ministries that provide resources and training to Spanish-speaking churches in the wider Wesleyan/Methodist tradition. Previously he and his family served for sixteen years as missionaries with the Methodist Church of Costa Rica, where they helped promote and build the Methodist Children's Home. Will also served as a professor at the Methodist Seminary, training pastors and lay leaders.

Francisco Sastre

Francisco Sastre is the National Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning for Bethany Christian Services, a global organization providing social services to vulnerable kids, families, refugees, and immigrants around the world. With a Ph.D. in Comparative Sociology, he has studied health disparities among Latin American communities in the US and provided research solutions to organizations working to create lasting social impact. He holds an academic appointment at Albizu University, Miami. He and his wife, Liz, enjoy living and working in Miami, Florida, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his spare time, he enjoys urban running and playing fútbol.
